The colours, the harmonies of shades and contrasts, the refinement and elegance of the furnishings immediately underscore the simple, rough architecture, restored with care. The rehabilitation of MResort has in fact maintained the typical architectonic features of the island, reprising colours, materials and furniture, renewing them with the most up to date comforts.
This non-invasive intervention, respecting the island's history and traditions, evinces a great harmony of shades, materials and decorative elements both indoors and out.
Over and above the structure, the restoration has positively exploited the proportions, materials and finishes: wood, Aeolian majolica and the characteristic window and door frames.
The outdoor spaces seem to continue this story, consisting of simplicity and delicacy. The terraces, from which you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view of the small port and the island of Vulcano, are enclosed in the style of the typical Aeolian house, to underline once more the idea of privacy and reserve characteristic of the island and create a sort of boundary, an invitation to avoid violating other people's intimacy.
